Conservation Research Group (CRG) is a collaborative effort of the Department of Aquaculture, St. Albert’s College, Kochi, India and the Division of Biodiversity and Conservation Biology, Department of Zoology, University of Kerala, Trivandrum, India. The group formally came into existence in October 2007 although both the collaborating institutes were engaged in independent research since 2004. The group currently functions from the Department of Aquaculture, St. Albert's college, Kochi, Kerala, India.

 

Research at CRG is driven by the following questions 1) what are the factors that lead to biodiversity loss in the Kerala region of Western Ghats hotspot & 2) what are the best strategies for conservation and management of the endemic bioresources of this region?
